The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management is one of the World’s leading Hotel Schools. This fully accredited and licensed University offers a BSc Hons Degree Programme in International Hospitality Management and is about to launch its Masters Degree. The Academy is part of the world famous Jumeirah Hotel Group and is located in Dubai which is one of the most vibrant and rapidly developing tourism destinations.


The Academy is seeking to employ a Senior PhD Qualified Member of Faculty to lead the teaching of Marketing and Management subjects in the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The post holder may also be expected to undertake Managerial Responsibility for one of our Programmes of Study and to engage in research and scholarly activities. At least initially, this appointment is Single Status.



Salary: 14,000 AED per month (tax free), bonus scheme and employer contribution pension plan, medical and dental insurance. Villa accommodation and all utility bills are included along with meals when on duty in the café and food and beverage privileges at the adjacent Jumeirah Hotels Access to Jumeirah sports, beach and recreation facilities is also included unless levels of business by paying clients prohibits this at peak periods of occupancy. Annual return flights and 5 weeks vacation will also be provided as per our policy.

Duties: Teaching on undergraduate and post graduate courses and Managerial responsibility for a programme of study. The post holder will also be expected to follow an agreed program of publications and scholarly activity relating to their discipline area.

Qualifications:

Minimum of three years work experience in the Hotel Industry, preference being given to applicants who have achieved junior managerial positions in reputable establishments.

Hospitality or Business Undergraduate / Masters Degree and successful completion of an earned PhD in a relevant discipline.
